OPL 315

OPL 315

PGS acquired a 1600 sq. km MC3D survey over Nigeria Block OPL 315 using Ramform Valiant, in anticipation of a new 2004 Nigeria License Round. The PGS MC3D survey is situated on the north-western edge of the Niger Delta diapiric shale zone, straddling the boundary with the Benin Embayment.
The survey lies to the north of OPL 209, which contains the world-class Erha field and west of OML 125, which contains the producing Abo field.
Companies licensing this high density 3D data will be better able to evaluate the hydrocarbon potential of the area and assess expected monetary value prior to bidding.
