Seismic data processing on PC Clusters
PGS data processing services utilizes a global computer resources center (DP Mega Center) that consists of three super computer centers located in Houston, London, and Perth. High capacity links are provided between the three centers and the major processing centers. This offers PGS the ability to efficiently utilize worldwide capacity for all of our processing services. Our computer system technology is based upon modern PC cluster technology.
Cube ManagerTM is the PGS proprietary seismic processing system. It runs on scalable Linux operating systems.

The significantly lower price/performance ratio offered with PC cluster technology has made it feasible to run any CPU intensive prestack migration algorithma.
New processing methods, such as Wave Equation Pre-Stack Depth Migration, that were previously economically unfeasible, are now practical propositions.
