CubeManager™

PGS was one of the first geophysical service companies to embark on the development of massively parallel processor (MPP) systems, and has become the recognized leader in seismic data processing on these systems.

Since its inception in 1987, the PGS MPP system has grown exponentially in software modules and use throughout the world. Key to this growth is the specialist MPP operating system, which sits at the heart of our CubeManager™ processing system.

CubeManager™ has been significantly redeveloped during recent years, in terms of architecture, processing modules, functionalities, efficiency, and user-friendliness.

Both the CubeManagerTM processing system and holoSeisTM visualization systems run in the Linux environment. This provides a high degree of flexibility, enabling the data processing to be pursued on a full range of system sizes, from a single node workstation to huge clusters.  The most complex of pursuits, such as explicit finite-difference pre-stack depth migration (PSDM), can be economically managed, without any compromises to quality or integrity.

CubeManagerTM is linked to the holoSeisTM visualization system, and the Time Velocity Analysis Tool (tVAT).
