PGS has drawn from its extensive database of non-exclusive 3D seismic data across the North West Shelf of Australia and merged these with oil company ‘released 3D data’ to form two Mega 3D Surveys. The Carnarvon MegaSurvey (18,417km2) and Vulcan Sub-Basin MegaSurvey (18,203km2) provide the greatest ever contiguous coverage across these two highly prospective regions of Australia’s continental shelf. In addition, PGS Reservoir has produced a digital map library of Australia’s North West Shelf hydrocarbon province. This Atlas is based on the interpretation of 35,000KM2 of 2D seismic data, and is the first time continuous regional map of the entire North West Shelf available to the industry. Update flyers
