PGS Reservoir can support clients in ensuring that a reservoir geological model is built in an efficient manner in order to optimise the subsequent appraisal and development of the reservoir.

PGS's strength in seismic processing and interpretation is harnessed to provide more than horizon interpretation.  Seismic data is also used to get a greater understanding of reservoir properties.  Reservoir characterisation from interpretation of these seismic attributes is regularly used to help evaluate field potential.  

In addition to constructing deterministic and probabilistic geophysical and geological models of a discovery, our geoscience, reservoir engineering and economics staff provides the expertise to undertake scoping studies to evaluate possible future field development options.

We have significant expertise of integrating geophysical and petrophysical data in the construction of 3D geological models using the latest software tools such as IRAP-RMS.  A recent example is a series of studies performed for AFPC in Syria.
