During the specification and design stages, PGS Reservoir offers assistance with all aspects of Field Development Programme preparation: from production geoscience through petroleum engineering to economics and facility engineering. PGS Reservoir provides technical support for bank financing requirements and offers advice on facilities optimization.

Throughout the drilling stage of an oil or gas field development, it is important to maintain flexibility and respond to the knowledge gained as the drilling proceeds. The use of industry-standard integrated-software packages is particularly valuable at this stage since, as new data is acquired and added to the database, geological models, maps and estimates of fluids in place can be quickly and effectively updated. This provides the flexibility to react to each well result as it becomes available and to adjust the remainder of the drilling program as necessary.  A recent example is a long-term project performed for Mossgas in South Africa.
