PGS Reservoir has considerable exploration experience in all the major oil-producing regions of the world. Our team of geoscientists can assist a company in all aspects of exploration, from the initial country and basin analysis, through play/lead identification/generation to prospect analysis and risking.
As part of the PGS group we have access to advanced techniques for seismic acquisition as well as processing and interpretation. This ensures that your data is fully understood and exploited.
In addition, our knowledge of the geological basins of the world provides a valuable source of expertise for any company. Our staff are able to apply their experience to help address the areas of risk and uncertainty and, by the application of cash-flow analyses, assess the value and merits of drilling a prospect.
We can also assist your exploration through access to cost effective multi-client data volumes and interpretations, for example 100,000km2 of merged seismic data in the North Sea - known as a MegaSurvey - and more detailed regional interpretation studies on the Norwegian continental shelf.
