Prior to the acquisition of an exploration license, we can provide advice on prospective areas in a number of different ways. Through our multi-client reports, we provide regional information (geological development, basin structure, source rock identification, maturity and migration, regional seals etc.) to aid the definition of play types and fairways, definition of new play concepts, and the identification of prospects and leads.
A recent example is the interpretation of 65,000km2 of merged seismic data for the UK Central and Southern North Sea providing unparalleled, cost effective, regional insight.
Our geoscientists can assist on a proprietary basis with the interpretation of regional seismic and well data, and with the recognition of prospects and leads throughout the world.
Our team works with governments in organizing and managing licensing rounds and for clients evaluating license round acreage. Our economists provide assistance with the evaluation of fiscal terms for licensing rounds, and advice on farm-ins and farm-outs.
