Petrophysics

PGS Reservoir's petrophysicists work within integrated multi-disciplinary teams to provide innovative interpretations of datasets to help determine fluid, rock and other reservoir characteristics.  

PGS Reservoir's petrophysicists have considerable experience in petrophysical analyses in a wide variety of reservoir types. Our petrophysical analyses are performed using leading industry software applications from a variety of vendors. Specific goals are to interpret well logs and to integrate this data with results from core analysis, test data and all relevant reservoir information.

Integration of petrophysics with geology and engineering is of prime importance.  We can also correlate petrophysical properties to seismic attributes for reservoir characterization.
