PGS Onshore operates the largest inventory of new, state of the art, compatible land equipment in the industry. PGS Onshore has invested in the most modern equipment available, including geophones, positioning systems, recording systems, QC software and vehicles. PGS has purchased 51 I/O AHV IV vibrators and over 50,000 channels of Sercel 408 since 2000. Sercel 408 Recording System
PGS Onshore has built our HD3D™ crews around the Sercel 408 field recording system. The Sercel 408 has a number advantages compared to other systems, but its primary attribute is that it enables operating the very large channel count recording spreads that are required for HD3D or multi-component surveys. IO AHV IV Vibrators
PGS has purchased 51 AHV IV vibrators from I/O since 2000. The I/O AHV IV is a demonstrated high productivity, low maintenance unit.
Onshore Navigation
PGS Onshore utilizes state of the art positioning and navigation equipment, coupled with vehicle tracking and navigation systems. “Stakeless” applications are used where applicable. Vibrator Navigation is installed in all PGS Onshore Vibrators
Sensor SM 24 geophones
The SM 24 geophone is the industry standard for high sensitivity, low distortion geophones. These geophones have proven long life and reliability.
