Flagging - Proxies for annual general meeting 2008
May 5, 2008: Oslo, Norway, Petroleum Geo-Services ASA ('PGS' or the 'Company') announced today that as of 5 May 2008 Jens Ulltveit-Moe, chairperson of the Board of Directors in PGS, holds voting rights based on proxies for 15,802,175 in PGS or 34.6 per cent of the shares registered at the deadline for registration for the Annual General Meeting to be held on 7 May 2008. Mr. Ulltveit-Moe received proxies representing 23.2 per cent of the votes represented at the Annual General Meeting from UMOE Invest AS which is a closely related party and the remaining 11.4 per cent from non-related parties. The proxies apply exclusively for the upcoming Annual General Meeting.
