PGS, in co-operation with Petroci, has completed the acquisition, processing and interpretation of over 6,500 km of new 2D seismic data offshore Côte d’Ivoire. The data are now available for licensing from PGS.

PGS ASA announced today the appointment of Mr. Tore Langballe (41) as Senior Vice President Group Communications. Langballe comes from a position as SVP Corporate Communications and Investor Relations in Aker Yards ASA. Langballe will be responsible for PGS’ internal and external communications, including Investor Relations and Brand Management.

StatoilHydro has awarded PGS a frame contract for seismic acquisition for 2008. The frame contract includes four months for each of the three vessels ”Ramform Challenger”, ”Ramform Sovereign” and ”Atlantic Explorer”.
