South Africa – New 2D Acquisition

New MultiClient 2D data offshore South Africa complements the existing 2D across the basin, giving 20 000 line km of GeoStreamer® data in one of the few remaining true frontier basins.

In addition, a major new basin modelling study helps de-risk the petroleum system. The study showed that source sediments could easily be mature over a large portion of the offshore area.

PGS has a number of G&G studies on this area. These include gravity and magnetics, basin modelling and quantitative interpretation.

The results were presented in our recent Africa Discovery Webinar.
A replay of the webinar is available. Please contact us at mcafrica@pgs.com to find out more.
