Shortly after the offshore operations were completed, PGS geoscientists identified exploration leads based on analysis of the Republic of Guinea 3D MultiClient GeoStreamer Fast-Track volume released a month after last shot.

The PGS imaging team has also been working on the creation of full Integrity prestack time and prestack depth migrated volumes, which will be available in early Q2 2020. These enhanced imaging flows provide yet further uplift in data quality over the fast-track volume.

PGS brings GeoStreamer technology with true broadband imaging to the Republic of Guinea, providing clearer reservoir detail in all play types.

This 3D survey marks the start of a series of planned acquisitions for PGS within the Republic of Guinea. Commercial, strategic and technical benefits are available to companies interested in this and the next phases of acquisition.
