The 2014 reprocessing project resulted in high quality 3D data which help to understand reservoir distribution and allow for accurate mapping of a number of potential leads and studies have demonstrated significant prospectivity in the survey area.
Added clarity to highly prospective features such as extensive syn-rift system of Aptian-Albian transitional marine sandstones within a prominent structural target and Late Cretaceous post-rift channels and fans systems.
By applying a modern broadband time processing workflow (by broadening the seismic frequency post-acquisition and removing the source and receiver ghost), PGS have been able to image the deeper syn-transform and early post-transform sections with much greater fidelity.
