West Africa Transform Margin - Côte d’Ivoire - 2006/2009/2014
CDI OFFSHORE 2D GeoStreamer®
New 2D GeoStreamer surveys complemented by recently PSDM reprocessed data offshore Côte d'Ivoire
This 2D data suite consists of two GeoStreamer surveys acquired in 2014 over blocks 601, 602 and 603 in addition to two recently reprocessed GeoStreamer and conventional datasets which include shallow water well ties. PSDM processed data are now available for selected lines.
The data indicate a variety of play types in the area. These include large-scale tilted syn-rift blocks, drape structures over deeper blocks, and detached late Cretaceous and Tertiary sand bodies draping over the top as part of a series of turbidite sequences.
Discovery wells Buffalo-1X (Lukoil, 2012), Paon-1X (Tullow, 2012), and Saphir-1XB (Total, 2014) have all de-risked the deep water petroleum system, showing both the necessary hydrocarbon maturation to produce light hydrocarbons and good quality reservoir in Cretaceous turbidite sandstones.
