Website Map for Survey Gabon MegaSurvey
The Gabon MegaSurvey covers over 65 000 sq. km of merged 3D data and 21 000 km of 2D data. Regional interpretation with key horizons tied to released well data is available.
The presalt has proven potential in South Gabon with source rock Kissenda-Melania and reservoir Gamba-Dentale formations. The horsts and grabens provide structural traps sealed by the Aptian Ezanga salt. The postsalt is dominant in North Gabon with the Azile source rocks and the Madiela reservoirs
MegaSurveys are regional scale, merged post-stack datasets. They consist of multiple surveys that have been rebinned to a common grid and then matched to produce a phase-balanced and uniformly scaled contiguous regional volume.
