STP Reprocessed 2D

Reprocessed regional MultiClient 2D seismic survey offshore São Tomé e Príncipe
Website Map for Survey STP
São Tomé and Príncipe is an underexplored region offshore Western Africa. Exploration success in neighbouring prolific regions of Nigeria and Gabon and surface oil seeps are evidence for a working petroleum system extending into ultra-deep water.
Both structural and stratigraphic targets relating to basement structural highs and stratigraphic and/or combination trap types are present with typical turbidite and basin floor fan reservoirs. Hydrocarbon charge is provided by Albo- Cenomanian Upper Cretaceous source rocks.
Three phases of seismic acquisition and recent reprocessing provides regional 2D dataset, allowing for regional play fairway mapping, petroleum systems modelling and identification of a number of prospective leads and trapping configurations.
