SA East Coast 2D GeoStreamer®

2D GeoStreamer survey across a broad regional offshore area east of South Africa
Website Map for Survey SAFR MC2D 2014
This first true broadband 2D dataset over South Africa’s frontier basin will help exploration teams unlock the hydrocarbon prospectivity in both the shallow and deeper waters.
The eastern coast of South Africa is garnering increased international interest. With no exploration wells drilled, this GeoStreamer dataset gives geoscientists an unrivalled understanding of the subsurface geology and prospectivity of the area.
The survey consists of a dense grid of lines over the shelf and slope areas, and a more regional grid with well-tie lines, over the deeper water.
