This popular 3D seismic survey is aimed to provide an understanding of this highly prolific Niger Delta and further highlighting its considerable remaining exploration potential. Additional information with regard to survey parameters is available upon request.
The survey was acquired in 3 phases and reprocessed as one single cube in 2003. It is located over the licensed block OML 145 and open acreage at the heart of Niger Delta compressional domain.
Large anticlinal structures created by thrusts detaching on the Akata shale hold significant potential. Fields and hydrocarbons discoveries such as Uge, Uge North, Orso and Nza proved the presence of working petroleum systems.
