Conventional MultiClient 3D data offshore Nigeria reprocessed in 2005
Website Map for Survey NGA_458_MC3D
This popular 3D seismic survey is aimed to provide an understanding of this highly prolific Niger Delta and further highlighting its considerable remaining exploration potential. Additional information with regard to each individual survey is available upon request.
It is located over the Niger Delta’s extensional tectonic domain. Large tilted fault blocks with listric faults detaching on the Akata shale hold significant potential. Fields and discoveries such as Amatu, Ene, Agge and more recently Toju proved the presence of working petroleum systems.
