Central Niger Delta - Nigeria - 1999
NGA OPL 250 3D
Conventional long offset MultiClient 3D data offshore Nigeria

This popular 3D seismic survey is aimed to provide an understanding of this highly prolific Niger Delta and further highlight its considerable remaining exploration potential. Additional information with regard to survey parameters is available upon request.
The survey is located over the open blocks OPL 2011 and OPL 250 in the deep waters of Niger Delta at the western limit of the compressional domain. Large anticlinal structures created by toe-thrusts and shale walls detaching on the Akata shale hold significant potential.
The 3D data also shows a number of amplitude anomalies, for example amplitude brightening and flattening on structural highs. Fields and hydrocarbons discoveries such as Orso to the East and Ofigbo to the North proved the presence of working petroleum systems.
