PGS, Spec Partners and Horizon, partnered in this MegaProject from Eastern Indonesia to bring cross discipline expertise to uncover the prospectivity of this vast under-explored region. Seismic and well integration, interpretation, helped build the geological framework and prospectivity review.
The Abadi–Arafura–Aru (AAA) MegaProject has enabled a much better understanding of the Tertiary to Palaeozoic structural and petroleum history and their sedimentation and facies distribution. Hydrocarbon charge and play fairway maps are georeferenced to present day.
The detailed imaging that GeoStreamer technology provides will undoubtedly make a significant contribution towards revealing the remaining hydrocarbon prospectivity and exploration potential in this mostly underexplored region.
