EJMM MegaProject

The MegaProject provides a fully matched regional dataset (16 000 line km) covering 5 basins
Website Map for Survey Makassar MegaProject
This MegaProject provides line ties over 5 basins from East Java, Makassar and Muara sub regions, a fully matched and interpreted seismic data with key horizons tied to released well data over the most prolific basins in Indonesia.
Four major hydrocarbon bearing Tertiary basins are present in the EJMM MegaProject area formed during Paleogene rifting and the main source rock interval is the Eocene-Oligocene lacustrine/shallow marine section which is believed to be mature present day in many parts of these basins.
The East Java–Makassar–Muara (EJMM) MegaProject combines five separate long-offset 2D surveys acquired by PGS and MCG between 2005 and 2010 into a single consistent phase and amplitude matched seismic dataset. The resulting interpretation provides a unique regional overview.
