PGS Access™ Westralia 2D GeoStreamer
Regionally consistent 2D PSDM framework to image the deepest structures of the Westralia SuperBasin

PGS is developing a series of uniquely integrated, high-value studies to better delineate the underlying architecture, geology and prospectivity of key basins.
A key objective is to recover crustal scale reflectors from GeoStreamer and conventionally acquired long offset 2D data. This provides the first regionally consistent 2D PreSDM framework across the laterally variable velocity regime of the Northwest Shelf with a harmonized geoscience interpretation.
The PGS Access™ Westralia Study includes a PreSDM reprocessing initiative that will build a geologically and regionally consistent VTI anisotropic velocity model to enable deep crustal imaging.
