Papuan Basin - Papua New Guinea

Painimaut MC3D 3D GeoStreamer

New MC3D in Frontier Papuan Basin
Website Map for Survey Painimaut MC3D
The Painimaut MC3D is targeting a number of play types in the under-explored Papuan Basin. This modern survey will provide a clearer image of the Mesozoic rift basins positioned adjacent to the Papuan and Eastern Plateaus as well as pinch-out plays and drapes over deeper structural highs.
This frontier area contains a variety of structural and stratigraphic trap styles with potential reservoirs and sources at several levels from weathered basement, Jurassic clastic sediments in faulted half grabens to Cretaceous clastics and carbonate build-up and turbidites in Cenozoic
Data being acquired with Geostreamer technology and triple-source acquisition. Gravity and magnetic data also acquired.
