The Solwara MC3D survey is the first MultiClient 3D project in Papua New Guinea reflecting the recent resurgence of interest in the gas potential of the Gulf of Papua. The Gulf of Papua is a proven hydrocarbon province with gas/condensate accumulations previously discovered in several reef build-ups
Proven hydrocarbon province with gas/condensate accumulations at Pandora, Uramu and Pasca. There is significant potential for the development of slope and basin floor fans in both stratigraphic and fault related structural traps, as well as Miocene carbonate plays.
