BS2011 2D GeoStreamer

Regional understanding of the Barents Sea
Website Map for Survey MC2D-BS2011
This regional survey provides coverage over the Loppa High and Bjarmeland Platform. It ties to key wells and discoveries from the Johan Castberg in the west over the Caurus to the Norvarg in the east.
This area has seen commercial oil and gas discoveries, primarily within Jurassic and Triassic reservoirs, but also contains potential in new play scenarios both younger and older. Future exploration potential is considered to be high.
The dataset was acquired with GeoStreamer technology to image important subsurface structures more clearly, characterize their reservoirs more accurately and monitor hydrocarbon production with greater precision.
