Russian Barents Sea - Russia - 2012/2013
Russian Barents Sea 2D
Internationally available seismic study linking Russian petroleum systems with Norwegian acreage

The survey extends from the Kara Sea in the east to the Norwegian/Russian border in the west.
The dataset provides an understanding of the Russian Barents Sea geological development, including sedimentary provenance and petroleum systems in Arctic Russia and Norway.
Hydrocarbon systems are proven in this area and there is further exploration potential within the deep basins and large anticlinal structures. Gas discoveries in the region include Kildin, Shtokman and Ludlov within the Jurassic shallow marine sandstones and Triassic lacustrine deltaic sandstones.
New 2D seismic data, tied to Russian wells, was the basis for a geological study containing detailed basin modeling and key horizon interpretation. The final seismic and interpreted horizons are available for licensing with the study report.
