Norwegian Barents Sea - Norway - 2012
WBGS2012 2D GeoStreamer
Ghost-free data with GeoStreamer and GeoSource technologies

This regional dataset focuses on the western Barents Sea improving the imaging of this complex geological area and penetrating deeper to display the Tertiary and Cretaceous stratigraphy in the Sørvestnaget Basin.
It covers significant discoveries such as the Johan Castberg, Gohta and ties to the well-known Snøhvit field. This area has seen commercial oil and gas discoveries, primarily within Jurassic and Triassic reservoirs, but also contains potential in new play scenarios of both younger and older age.
This survey was acquired using our proprietary GeoStreamer and GeoSource technologies which eliminate all source ghost and receiver ghost effects.
