Potential play types: an extension of Pliocene sandstones from the prolific Nile Delta province; presalt carbonate build ups with similar seismic characteristics as the Zohr discovery; and an extension of the onshore Western Desert proven Jurassic/Cretaceous oil and gas play into the shelf area.
GeoStreamer acquisition provides broadband data rich in both low and high-frequency information that can be reliably used for structural interpretation and rock property analysis. PSDM products will be available for accurate imaging of subsalt reservoir targets.
