The shallow survey covers the offshore part of the Matruh Canyon with the other survey being located in the Herodotus Basin.
The petroleum system from the Western Desert is expected to extend into the Matruh Canyon. In addition to the shallow gas potential there is also presalt structures and fan systems within the Herodotus Basin survey area.
Rejuvenation of legacy 3D data through PGS' full integrity broadband processing. Both PSTM and PSDM products are available.
