GRE 2012 Reprocessed 2D GeoStreamer®

Recently reprocessed regional seismic 2D offshore west and south of Greece
The 12 500 km survey was acquired in cooperation with the Ministry of Greece. The data covers all exploration blocks containing potential leads and formed the basis for the 2017-2018 and future offshore licensing rounds.
The petroleum system is demonstrated by the Katakolon oil discovery and discoveries in Albania and Italy. Identified traps are sub-thrusts, salt related and stratigraphic. The source rocks include Triassic and Jurassic-Cretaceous shales. Reservoirs consist of clastic and carbonate strata.
The GeoStreamer data is the ghost-free broadband solution resolving structural details in the shallow and allowing greater penetration and deeper imaging. It has allowed a confident delineation of the stratigraphy and the various play types in the dynamics of evaporites, carbonates and clastics.
