LEB 2011 2D GeoStreamer

Essential 2D coverage for prospecting in Lebanon’s offshore exploration blocks
Website Map for Survey MC2D-LEB2011
The 2D survey covers most of the unlicensed exploration blocks and can be used to rank them. The data provides a regional overview of the leads.
Several potential play types have been defined including elongated 4-way closing sub-salt structures with Miocene sandstone reservoirs of distant Nile Delta sediments and stratigraphic traps. The Levant Margin to the east of the survey is known to consist of oil-prone Mesozoic carbonate reef plays.
Acquired in cooperation with the Lebanese Ministry, the high-quality GeoStreamer survey provides seismic clarity in this frontier.
