Several potential play types have been defined including elongated 4-way closing sub-salt structures with Miocene sandstone reservoirs of distant Nile Delta sediments and stratigraphic traps. The Levant Margin to the east of the survey is known to consist of oil-prone Mesozoic carbonate reef plays.
Acquired in cooperation with the Lebanese Ministry, the high-quality GeoStreamer survey provides seismic clarity in this frontier region that has no well information.
