North Kara Sea - Russia - 2012
North Kara Sea 2D
Internationally available seismic study that provides understanding of the underexplored Kara region

This data provides 2D seismic, valuable geological modeling and interpretation of one of the least explored regions of the Russian continental shelf. It links to key structures and leads in the Barents Sea and enables a modern assessment of the regional prospectivity North Kara Sea region.
Large anticlinal structures, Ordovician-Silurian reef deposits and Paleozoic unconformities have all been identified in this region with hydrocarbon potential.
2D seismic data, combined with knowledge from legacy seismic and arctic outcrops, were the basis for this geological study containing detailed basin modeling and interpretation. The final seismic and interpreted horizons are available for licensing with the study report.
