The survey offers excellent imaging of the Midgard and Mikkel fields as well as the surrounding area. An additional target is the exploration potential in the Gimsan Basin including the flanks of the Trøndelag Platform.
The Halten Terrace is known for numerous commercial oil and gas discoveries, primarily within Jurassic and Cretaceous reservoirs. The prospectivity of the area is considered to be high.
