This regional 3D GeoStreamer survey has been acquired with a triple source to maximize data density. The results allow to unlock the potential of a highly underexplored area that is perfectly positioned to bring resources quickly to market.
The survey provides 3D coverage over the western part of the Helgeland Basin, the Vega High and most of the Ylvingen Fault Complex and is bordering the prolific Halten-Donna Terraces. The area has mainly Jurassic targets, but it could also have potential in unproven presalt plays in the Permian.
Integrated Complete Wavefield Imaging of GeoStreamer data allow detailed prospect evaluation and exploration for new plays. The superior AVO compliant dataset is available for rigorous rock physics interrogations.
