East Shetland Basin - UK - 2010

ESB2010 3D

This High Density 3D dataset provides excellent resolution of exploration targets in the area
Website Map for Survey MC3D-ESB2010
Covering the western edge of the prolific East Shetland Basin, this high density dataset provides better imaging through better sampling of the main fields in particular Tern, Cormorant, Ninian, Lyell, Alwyn and Staffa fields among others (Middle Jurassic).
Main basin structural features were formed during the Late Jurassic rifting. The Basin prospectivity is dominated by the occurrence of pre rift, Triassic and Middle Jurassic sand prone reservoirs within clearly defined structural closures (e.g. Brent Group).
This HD 3D dataset benefits from optimal target illumination, dense wavefield sampling and high resolution processing and imaging. Each consideration works in harmony, resulting in a high resolution of both structural and stratigraphic field components
