Extending exploration into this frontier area with deeper imaging than ever before

Full 3D AVO-compliant coverage of the frontier section of the East Shetland Platform and the western edge of the Viking Graben, tracking Paleocene, Jurassic and Paleozoic targets.
The East Shetland Platform represents a stable area in the Northern North Sea during the major rifting phase. The main fields south of this area are within a thick Paleocene interval overlying interesting Paleozoic structures. Additionally prospectivity may exist in thin Jurassic-Cretaceous veneers.
A high resolution survey designed to map the migration pathways from the traditional Graben up onto the platform. Thin sand fans have been illuminated and small remnant pockets of Jurassic/Triassic have been mapped to provide the next generation of exploration targets in the platform area.
