NVG05/06 3D

Full coverage over a mature area
Website Map for Survey MC3D-NVG05/06
Covering the East Shetland Basin, the Frigg Ridge and the Fersal sub-basin, a mature area with numerous oil and gas discoveries, this conventional 3D dataset provides targets fields such as the Krafla and Steinbit.
The area is prolific with nearby discoveries and fields that show three primary reservoir units: Middle to Late Jurassic sandstones and Tertiary sandstones. The main source rock in the area is the Late Jurassic Draupne Fm shale although a Middle Jurassic source rock is also possible.
This conventional dataset has had RBO applied and has been merged with the GeoStreamer surveys to the south to form the survey MC3D-NVG11M.
