Reservoirs in the Moray Firth are poorly understood and require high-quality GeoStreamer 3D seismic data. Increased resolution and advanced Imaging will increase understanding and optimize opportunities for new discoveries.
Mature area in CNS with play types including Kimmeridge Clay source, Upper Jurassic and Lower Cretaceous sandstone reservoirs with structural and stratigraphic traps. Updip migration through sandstones and major faults with effective seals.
Multisensor GeoStreamer acquisition with triple source has provided high-density data. State-of-the art processing technology includes Complete Wavefield Imaging (CWI). Shallow and deep targets have been imaged using anisotropic TTI Kirchhoff PSDM imaging. Final PSDM completed and available.
