Reservoirs in the Moray Firth are poorly understood and require high-quality GeoStreamer 3D seismic data. Increased resolution and advanced Imaging will increase understanding and optimize opportunities for new discoveries.
Mature area in CNS with play types including Kimmeridge Clay source, Upper Jurassic and Lower Cretaceous sandstones reservoirs with structural and stratigraphic traps. Updip migration through sandstones and major faults with effective seals.
Multi-sensor GeoStreamer acquisition with triple source will provide high-density data. State-of-the art processing technology includes Complete Wavefield Imaging (CWI). Shallow and deep targets will be imaged using anisotropic TTI Kirchhoff PSDM imaging.
