The Inner Moray Firth region has lacked modern 3D seismic data. This new high-quality 3D seismic will enable the geological models to be updated for prospectivity evaluation in the UKCS 31st Round.
Overlooked area in the CNS with Lower to Middle Devonian source rock potential in addition to Kimmeridge Clay. Permian to Upper Jurassic and Lower Cretaceous sandstones reservoir levels with structural and stratigraphic traps. Updip migration through sandstones and major faults with effective seals.
Multi-sensor GeoStreamer acquisition with triple source will provide high-density data. State-of-the art processing technology includes Complete Wavefield Imaging (CWI). Shallow and deep targets will be imaged using anisotropic TTI Kirchhoff PSDM imaging.
