Covering the Brae-Miller Province in the South Viking Graben, this survey extends westwards onto the Crawford Spur (East Shetland Platform) and eastwards into the Gudrun Sub-Basin.
The South Viking Graben was formed during the Late Jurassic rifting. The largest fields relate to the syn-rift Brae-Miller complex. Prospectivity extends on the Crawford Spur, with existing discoveries in the Triassic-Jurassic. Additionally, Palaeocene potential also exists in the Gudrun Sub-Basin.
This GeoStreamer dataset is an invaluable tool to de-risk future exploration, whilst providing the key dataset to extend production of existing fields. It also provides greater insight into the structural history and prospectivity of the area.
