Orphan Basin - Canada - 2020

Blomidon 3D GeoStreamer (In Processing)

Positioned in the Orphan Basin, Eastern Newfoundland Region
Website Map for Survey Blomidon
The survey is part of 22,469 sq. km of contiguous 3D coverage delineating play fairways from the underexplored Orphan Basin, offshore Newfoundland.
Potential reservoirs identified in the Cretaceous and Tertiary sections with evidence over the region for source rock and active petroleum systems.
Broadband 3D imaging will help identify all the necessary petroleum system elements contained in this underexplored basin. GeoStreamer data with AVO compliant processing will drive successful exploration in this basin.
