Imaging the fan systems of Southeast Newfoundland with modern 3D seismic

This modern 3D dataset in the Salar Basin offers the first 3D images of fan systems in the Southeast Newfoundland region with AVO compliant GeoStreamer data to enable successful exploration in the basin.
Potential reservoirs are expected in the Lower Tertiary section with source rock interval ranging from Lower Cretaceous to Lower Tertiary sections. The underlying 2D data indicates presence of material size prospects.
Broadband 3D imaging of AVO compliant data will help identify all petroleum system elements.
