New Trends in Marine Seismic Acquisition
The fight against the free-surface ghost continues at the 2nd OSEG meeting of 2017, hosted by PGS. On the agenda is a discussion of new trends in marine seismic acquisition, new possibilities, and impacts on data quality. The session will be presented by SEG Honorary Lecturer 2017 Martin Landrø.
With a focus on data examples, Martin Landrø, SEG Honorary Lecturer 2017 - Europe and professor at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) will show significant improvements in seismic data acquisition and discuss potential directions for further improvements, both related to efficiency and especially data quality.
