AAPG Regional 2017

Join our presentation on new and emerging plays offshore West Egypt to hear how GeoStreamer data can enable more effective exploration. The PGS MultiClient data library contains advanced images of the subsurface that highlight areas of high prospectivity with good potential for assessing acreage.

AAPG Regional 2017, Larnaca Cyprys, 18-19 Jan.

Hydrocarbons in the Mediterranean: revisiting mature plays and understanding new and emerging ideas

Frontier exploration: GeoStreamer acquisition and unique PGS imaging technologies reveal new hydrocarbon potential offshore western Egypt. To bring you up-to-date with the latest developments in this area, we will present opportunities based on our newest Egypt dataset.

Impressive gas discoveries have been made in recent years in the eastern Mediterranean: Tamar (2009), Leviathan (2010), Aphrodite (2011) and, most recently, Zohr (2015). Although, overall, exploration activity has been intermittent and often focused in very limited portions of the basin.

Much of the Mediterranean is underexplored. The use of new seismic acquisition and drilling technologies together with recent discoveries in new plays have revitalized interest in the entire area.

Meet us at the AAPG conference to get the latest updates on our Egypt seismic and Mediterranean Data Library, our leading-edge imaging solutions, reservoir services, and pioneering PGS marine acquisition technologies for this region.
