The SEG Annual Meeting is one of the year's most anticipated events for the geosciences sector and PGS will, once again, play a very active part in attending, presenting at the conference and exhibiting at the exhibition.

We will highlight our leading Marine Technologies and profile our MultiClient Data Library, leading-edge Imaging Technologies and Reservoir Services.

Technical conference

In the PGS Technical Sessions and Abstracts program you can find details of PGS papers and posters included in the technical conference.

Dan Whitmore from PGS will give an invited presentation in the prestigious SEG session 'Recent Advances and the Road Ahead' at 15:20 on Monday in RM 163/165. His paper 'Extending the 3D primary image with multiples and mirrors' includes examples showing how sea-surface reflections can contribute in 3D wide azimuth multi-streamer, ocean bottom seismic and 3D VSP's scenarios. Included is a prognosis for the future including advances in imaging methods and the trade-offs of acquisition sampling (cost) and image quality.

On the PGS Booth

Experience Salt Modeling on a Supercomputer

PGS will be performing live demonstrations on our booth (#2122) of our integrated salt model building toolbox. See how we use our Cray® XC™ Series supercomputers to power advanced imaging techniques such as Reverse Time Migration. Register for the demonstration at the booth.

Lunch and Learn

PGS Lunch and Learn sessions are popular at SEG delivering knowledge and nutrition between the conference papers. Please visit the PGS booth #2122 to register and collect your ticket (including directions). All sessions will begin with registration and lunch at 12:00 followed by the presentation at 12:15.
