Improved 3D seismic imaging of the East Shetland Platform is revealing deeper plays that have previously been overlooked. New opportunities can now be explored on this key exploration frontier of the UKCS. Discover 3D seismic interpretation that has been complemented with regional well analyses to demonstrate a feasible play system. Source, reservoir and seal rocks are all present within the Paleozoic section and these have now been consistently mapped across the region.

About the conference:
Seismic 2017 is a one-day event focused on seismic acquisition, processing, and interpretation. The technical program will explore the entire spectrum of seismic, covering seismic technology, exploration, development and production throughout the lifecycle of the asset. In-depth information will be presented on the 40 000 km of new and legacy seismic data that the UK Oil and Gas Authority has released from the Rockall Trough and Mid-North Sea High areas.
