This morning the North Sea Transition Authority (NSTA) awarded 27 new licenses in areas offshore UK that are prioritized due to their potential for accelerated production.

All awarded blocks have undergone the initial Habitat Regulation Assessment (HRA) since the 33rd oil and gas licensing round was launched October 2022.

“We’re ready to support the next steps in extracting value from these opportunities, with first-class 3D seismic, including GeoStreamer, 3D Vision and MegaSurvey Plus datasets over the awarded blocks, allowing energy companies to accelerate the timeline from award to production,” says Simon Baer, UK Sales Manager at PGS.
